When the toilet seat is tilted, it may indeed cause health hazards. When the seat cannot remain horizontal or stably fit the toilet, the gap between it and the toilet body will form a "dead corner" that is difficult to clean. These areas are prone to accumulate urine, water stains or cleaning residues, and the long-term humid environment provides a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. For example, urine seeps into the gap between the seat and the toilet. If it is not cleaned in time, it may form stubborn yellow stains due to oxidation reaction and release odor at the same time; mold breeds in moist gaps, causing black spots on the edge or bottom of the seat, and even spread to human skin through contact, increasing the risk of urinary system or skin infection. In addition, the tilt of the seat may cause uneven force during use, especially when the user adjusts the sitting position, the tilted seat may suddenly slide or shift, causing the buttocks or thighs to directly contact the ceramic surface of the toilet edge (especially the area that has not been thoroughly cleaned), indirectly causing contact between pollutants and skin. For children or elderly people with limited mobility, this instability may also affect the body balance when using the toilet, increasing the probability of touching dirt due to panic wiping or emergency grip. In the long run, if the tilted seat is not adjusted or replaced in time, its structural deformation may be further aggravated, leading to aging and falling off of the sealing strips, rusting of the fixing screws and other problems, so that the health hazards spread from local gaps to the entire toilet structure, and ultimately affect the overall cleanliness of the family bathroom environment. Therefore, regularly checking the stability of the seat and repairing the tilt problem in time are important measures to maintain health and safety.
